The Indian government, led by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, announced several key initiatives under the IndiaAI Mission aimed at advancing the country's artificial intelligence capabilities. The event, held in New Delhi and themed "Make AI in India, Make AI Work for India," highlighted strategic interventions across computing infrastructure, foundational AI technologies, startups, data, and applications. As part of these efforts, the IndiaAI Applications Development Initiative recognized winners of the IndiaAI–I4C CyberGuard AI Hackathon, organized in collaboration with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre and the Ministry of Home Affairs. These initiatives are designed to position India as a significant player in the global AI landscape, leveraging its unique strengths to foster innovation and indigenous AI development.
