US Customs Intensifies Crackdown on Counterfeit Goods from India, Including Nike

The US Customs and Border Protection (CPB) has intensified its surveillance and crackdown on the smuggling of counterfeit luxury goods. This increased scrutiny has led to the seizure of fake luxury items from many Indian students and travelers arriving in the United States. The CPB's efforts are part of a broader initiative to combat the trade of counterfeit goods, which includes raids in Manhattan and monitoring markets in India. Travelers carrying counterfeit items such as fake Adidas, Nike, and Gucci products are advised to leave them behind, as US Customs can destroy these goods upon entry.
