
Wipro has announced its Q2FY25 results, reporting a 21% rise in net profit to Rs 3,227 crore. The company also declared a 1:1 bonus share issue and added 978 employees during the quarter. Wipro's IT revenue stood at Rs 22,196 crore, slightly below CNBC-TV18's poll estimate of Rs 22,248 crore, while EBIT was Rs 3,732 crore, surpassing the poll estimate of Rs 3,666 crore. The company's performance was bolstered by a revival in client spending in the US communications sector. Gross revenue was Rs 22,300 crore.
