Japanese Yen Gains 1% Against Dollar, Falls to 156.76 Yen

Additionally, sterling and the Australian dollar both declined against the yen, with sterling down 0.65% and the Australian dollar nearly 1%. Earlier, the dollar/yen pair had minor fluctuations, showing a 0.1% decline, a 0.45% drop, a 0.52% rise, a 0.39% increase, and a 0.26% decrease.
