Japanese Yen Strengthens 0.2% to 154.23 Against US Dollar After CPI Data, USD/JPY Hits 154.41 Session Low

The Japanese Yen has emerged as the strongest currency in the latest strength rankings, followed by the Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Swiss Franc, US Dollar, British Pound, Euro, and New Zealand Dollar. On November 21, 2024, the Yen strengthened by 0.2% to 154.23 against the US Dollar, following the release of Consumer Price Index (CPI) data. Earlier in the session, the Dollar/Yen pair fell as much as 0.65% to a session low of 154.41. Subsequent reports indicated that the USD/JPY dropped below 154.00, attributed to above-target CPI data and news regarding stimulus measures.
