Koryo High School Replaces Manager Tetsuyuki Nakai and Director Junichi Nakai After Violence Incident and Summer Championship Withdrawal

Koryo High School in Hiroshima has announced the replacement of its baseball club manager Tetsuyuki Nakai and club director Junichi Nakai following an incident of violence among team members. The incident, which occurred in January, involved senior players assaulting junior players and led to the team withdrawing from the summer national high school baseball championships. The school appointed Kengo Matsumoto as the new manager and also replaced the club director. Tetsuyuki Nakai expressed a sense of responsibility for the situation. The changes were confirmed on August 21, 2025, as part of the school's response to the controversy.
