Cybersecurity experts have issued urgent warnings to Apple users regarding vulnerabilities in Microsoft applications that could allow hackers to spy on them. Cisco Talos has identified eight security flaws in popular Microsoft apps, including Teams and Word, which may expose millions of Apple users to potential threats. Concurrently, a significant data breach involving the National Public Data background-check company has come to light, with lawsuits claiming that approximately 2.9 billion individuals may have had their personal information, including Social Security numbers, addresses, and phone numbers, compromised.
