Amazon Web Services (AWS) has been ordered to pay $30.5 million in damages for infringing two computer network patents owned by Acceleration Bay. A Delaware federal jury found that AWS's CloudFront content-delivery system and Virtual Private Cloud network violated these patents. The patents were originally owned by Boeing. AWS must pay for infringing P2P network patents.
