In a parallel development, on November 7, the SEC is seeking court approval to dismiss three of Kraken’s key legal defenses in an ongoing lawsuit. The SEC claims Kraken has been sufficiently warned about regulatory issues, while Kraken argues that the SEC is attempting to avoid addressing critical questions about its regulatory practices.
