Nikolas Gierczyk, a former customer of bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX, has filed a lawsuit against hedge fund Olympus Peak, alleging that they reneged on their agreement and underpaid him in the purchase of his bankruptcy claim. Gierczyk sold his claim to Olympus Peak for $1.59 million but contends the hedge fund owes him over $1 million more from promised recovery cash that was not delivered. He asserts that Olympus Peak stands to make over $1 million from the deal and is seeking the additional funds he believes are owed to him.
