Red Bay Coffee, one of the Bay Area’s most prominent coffee roasters known for its culturally inclusive approach and creative drinks like candied yam lattes, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy due to spiraling costs from multiple lawsuits, including a sexual harassment claim. CEO Keba Konte cited these lawsuits as a significant factor in the company's financial difficulties. The bankruptcy filing occurred in late August.
