SEC’s Peirce Says Agency Mishandled Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Products

Peirce made the remark on 25 June during a panel at the Bitcoin Policy Summit in Washington. Her comments provide an unusually candid assessment from within the SEC as asset managers and crypto advocates have long argued that the agency set higher hurdles for Bitcoin exchange-traded funds than for comparable products tied to other assets.
