The Guardian has entered into a licensing agreement with OpenAI, marking a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the quality of journalism available to users of ChatGPT. This collaboration will enable the integration of the Guardian's editorial content into the AI platform, while OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise will be implemented across the Guardian Media Group's operations. This announcement comes shortly after the Guardian became involved in a lawsuit against AI startup Cohere for alleged copyright infringement. The partnership is part of OpenAI's broader strategy to collaborate with media organizations to improve content delivery and user experience.
