
Franklin Templeton, a $1.6 trillion asset manager, has submitted a proposal to the SEC to list and trade a new Bitcoin and Ethereum Crypto Index ETF. This ETF aims to offer investors exposure to both Bitcoin and Ethereum without directly holding the assets. The proposal is part of a broader trend in 2024, where out of 525 ETFs launched, 13 of the top 25 are either Bitcoin or Ether-related. Notably, the top 4 ETFs are all spot Bitcoin ETFs, highlighting the increasing interest and demand for cryptocurrency investment vehicles. The MSTR Option Strategy ETF is also among the top ETFs launched this year, marking one of the most successful ETF launches in history.
