The AI agents sector has experienced a notable decline in market value, dropping from a peak of $20.37 billion on January 15 to approximately $6.2 billion as of early February. This represents a loss of about $14 billion over the past three weeks. The market cap of AI agent tokens has shrunk from $10 billion to $6.6 billion, with several tokens, including FARTCOIN, AI16Z, and VIRTUAL, reporting double-digit losses. However, SNAI has shown resilience with a 127% gain during this period. The number of new AI agent tokens launched has also decreased sharply, with fewer than 100 new pairs introduced in February compared to over 1,300 in November. Despite the downturn, there are signs of a relief rally among certain AI coins, particularly those with unique value propositions. Notably, Tetsuo, Moby, and GoodAI have been highlighted as smaller tokens that may perform well in future market conditions.
