Binance Alpha 2.0 reached a record 24-hour trading volume of approximately $206 million across 840,000 transactions on April 29, 2025. The top three tokens by volume were KMNO, POPCAT, and FARTCOIN, with KMNO seeing notable activity including a recent withdrawal of 42.73 million tokens valued at $2.88 million from FalconX. Binance has introduced a new incentive program starting May 1, 2025, where purchases of BNB Smart Chain (BSC) Alpha tokens and limit orders on any network count double toward users' Alpha trading volume points. This promotion aims to encourage more trading activity and engagement within the Binance Alpha ecosystem. Additionally, Binance Alpha has expanded support to include the Sonic Chain network, launching the Shadow (SHADOW) decentralized exchange (DEX) token on the platform. Sonic Chain's Shadow token maintains over 50% of total trading volume on the chain and is gaining traction as a preferred native project, alongside cross-chain deployments by DeFi leaders such as Aave and Pendle. Binance also announced upcoming exclusive airdrops for active traders on Sonic Chain, further enhancing incentives for participation in the ecosystem.
