Bitcoin has surged past the $90,000 mark for the first time since early March, driven by strong inflows into Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and a decoupling from the performance of US tech stocks. The cryptocurrency reached as high as $94,300, marking a 6.6% rise, before experiencing a slight decline of 2.5% to $91,900. This rally has contributed to the total crypto market capitalization surpassing $3 trillion, a level not seen since March 7, 2025. The increase in Bitcoin's value has been accompanied by gains in other major cryptocurrencies, with Ethereum rising by 5.5%, Solana by 6.2%, and Dogecoin also seeing significant rises. Bitcoin itself gained 3.8% in the last 24 hours.
