Since late June, Circle has repeatedly minted $250 million increments of USDC on Solana, with multiple reports confirming these minting events occurring as frequently as daily. As of mid-July, Circle minted approximately $2 billion worth of USDC on Solana within a two-week span. The total USDC minted on Solana by Circle in 2025 has reached $17.5 billion, reflecting growing demand for stablecoin liquidity on the Solana network amid accelerating decentralized finance (DeFi) activity. Notably, on July 17 alone, Circle minted $500 million USDC within minutes, contributing to a weekly total of $1 billion minted. By late July, Circle minted $750 million USDC within a single hour, underscoring the rapid expansion of USDC supply on Solana and signaling increased activity and demand within the Solana ecosystem.
