Circle, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, has minted a total of approximately $750 million USDC on the Solana blockchain within the last 24 hours. This follows several recent issuances, including $250 million USDC on Solana and $400 million USDC on Ethereum earlier. Additionally, Circle's treasury transferred $1 billion USDC on Solana to Coinbase in two $500 million transactions, completed in 1.7 seconds at a cost of 28 cents, highlighting the platform's speed and low transaction fees favored by institutional users. Meanwhile, USDC usage on Ethereum reached record levels in July, with a monthly transfer volume of $748.3 billion and 8.3 million transfers, indicating growing adoption and scaling of USDC on the Ethereum network.
