Circle has announced that native USDC will soon be available on the Linea blockchain, marking the first upgrade from its Bridged USDC Standard to a natively issued version. Additionally, Linea will gain support for the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) V2 following the upgrade. In a related development, Circle recently minted an additional $250 million USDC on the Solana blockchain, bringing its total issuance for 2025 to $9.25 billion.
