Coinbase has announced the integration of Chainlink's technology into its Project Diamond, a digital asset platform aimed at institutional users. This collaboration is expected to enhance the management of tokenized assets by providing secure lifecycle management and data integration capabilities. The integration will leverage Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), facilitating streamlined liquidity across networks and boosting the scalability of tokenized assets. Additionally, Chainlink has joined the Emirates NBD Digital Asset Lab Council, a significant banking group in the Middle East and North Africa region with approximately $260 billion in assets under management. This partnership aims to support the adoption of digital assets in the region through verifiable data and cross-chain interoperability, further highlighting the growing mainstream acceptance of cryptocurrency.
