Movement Labs has officially launched the $MOVE utility token, designed for the Movement ecosystem. The total supply of $MOVE is set at 10 billion tokens, with an initial circulating supply of 22.5%. Tokenomics reveal that 40% of the tokens will support the ecosystem and community, while 10% is allocated for initial issuance, another 10% for the foundation, 17.5% for early contributors, and 22.5% for early supporters. The token will facilitate staking, governance, and payment of gas fees, creating a demand for $MOVE. Additionally, an airdrop program named MoveDrop will distribute up to 1 billion $MOVE tokens, accounting for 10% of the total supply, to early users and community members. The Token Generation Event (TGE) is approaching, and users are encouraged to register for the airdrop, which will distribute nearly 60% of the total supply over various phases.
