Lazzeri Montaño officially assumed the role on August 18, 2025, and has pledged to strengthen these development banks. His background includes experience in the Secretariat of Finance of Mexico City during the final year of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador's administration and later roles in the government under former President Felipe Calderón, including at Banobras. Meanwhile, Nu México announced a leadership change with Armando Herrera, a former executive at Konfío, set to become the new CEO starting September 2, 2025, succeeding Iván Canales who will continue collaborating with the company. Additionally, Querétaro state officials have engaged with international investors through the Council of the Americas to bolster economic ties, and the Secretariat of Economy is promoting sustainable infrastructure with social and environmental impact at the third IMEF ESG forum. Marco del Prete Tercero, head of Querétaro's Secretariat of Sustainable Development, met with the Directorate of Attention to SMEs to further these initiatives.
