Israeli military helicopters have been evacuating dead and wounded soldiers from northern Gaza following an ambush by Palestinian fighters. Five Israeli soldiers were killed and over ten injured in the incident near Beit Hanoun, Gaza Strip. The ambush was reportedly carried out by Palestinian resistance fighters who opened fire near the settlement of Bat Ayin, south of Bethlehem.
