The Israeli military has reported multiple casualties among its soldiers in recent combat operations in the Gaza Strip. On June 24, an ambush in Khan Yunis resulted in the deaths of at least four Israeli soldiers and injuries to 17 others, some in critical condition. On June 25, fighting in southern Gaza led to the death of an officer and six soldiers. On July 7-8, the Israeli army confirmed that five soldiers were killed and 14 others injured, including two severely wounded, during battles in the Beit Hanoun area of northern Gaza. Additionally, on July 9, a soldier was killed during fighting in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza. On July 14, three soldiers were killed and an officer was seriously injured in northern Gaza combat. Subsequent reports on July 16-17 indicated that several soldiers were wounded in battles in the Shujaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City, with two in critical condition. These incidents reflect ongoing intense military engagements in both northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.
