Israeli forces have conducted an extensive demolition campaign across multiple locations in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. On July 9, 2025, bulldozers demolished at least seven Palestinian homes in the village of Shuqba, west of Ramallah, displacing dozens of residents. Earlier in the day, a Palestinian-owned home was razed in the village of Rujeib, east of Nablus. Additional demolitions included agricultural structures and land leveling in the village of Beit Sira, west of Ramallah, as well as the destruction of a home belonging to the Burqan family in the Silwan neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem. Another Palestinian-owned house was demolished in the town of Kafr Qassem, located in the 1948-occupied Palestinian territory. These demolitions were carried out under the pretext of lacking Israeli construction permits. Local sources and Palestinian officials reported that this represents the highest rate of home demolitions by Israeli forces in the West Bank since 1967. The campaign has led to widespread displacement and destruction of Palestinian residential and agricultural properties.
