Tencent has announced its largest-ever employment initiative, planning to add 28,000 internship positions over the next three years, with 10,000 internships available this year alone. More than 60% of these roles will focus on technology-related positions, including artificial intelligence talent. This recruitment drive is part of a broader strategy to boost domestic consumption and expand job opportunities. Additionally, Tencent plans to invest $150 million in the Middle East and establish its first data center in Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Huawei is also expanding its hiring efforts, aiming to recruit over 10,000 fresh graduates this year across more than 60 roles, including AI engineers, software developers, hardware engineers, and algorithm specialists.
