Marvel Studios has released new footage and behind-the-scenes content for "The Fantastic Four: First Steps," which is scheduled to premiere in theaters on July 25, 2025. The latest clip features the Silver Surfer arriving on Earth and heralding the arrival of Galactus, a classic villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Director Matt Shakman discussed the use of practical and optical effects to recreate Sue Storm’s powers, aiming to evoke the visual style of the 1960s while incorporating modern technology. Ralph Ineson portrays Galactus, wearing a practical suit, and the production includes detailed miniatures such as the Excelsior ship. The film will also include two post-credits scenes. Additionally, it was revealed that Reed Richards will take on a new leadership role within the MCU, leading the Avengers instead of Captain America. The score and theme music for Galactus have been unveiled as part of the promotional campaign.
