Drake released a new song titled “What Did I Miss?” early Friday, punctuating the track with several cutting lines apparently aimed at NBA star LeBron James. In the song, the Toronto rapper says he “saw bro in the Pop Out with them but been d*ckriding gang since ‘Headlines,’” a lyric interpreted as a jab at James for appearing at Kendrick Lamar’s recent “Pop Out” concert in Los Angeles. Drake continues the critique with, “You switched on the guys and supported a hater,” and questions, “How could some people I love hang around [those] who tried me?” The remarks add a new wrinkle to the ongoing friction between Drake and Lamar, while drawing the four-time NBA champion into the feud. Neither James nor Lamar has publicly responded to the track as of early Friday.
