The fictional K-pop girl group HUNTR/X's song "Golden," featured in the film, reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the first time a female K-pop group has topped the chart. "Golden" surpassed NewJeans' "Ditto" to become the song with the most "Perfect All-Kills" in history. The song drew 31.7 million official streams, up 9%, and an 8.4 million radio airplay audience. Additionally, other songs from the film, including "Your Idol," "What It Sounds Like," and "Takedown," have achieved new peak positions on the Billboard Hot 100. Since its release in June, "KPop Demon Hunters" has become Netflix's most-watched animated film. Netflix announced a limited theatrical release of the film for one weekend later in August, including special sing-along screenings.
