Netflix will give its hit animated musical “KPop Demon Hunters” a limited big-screen outing, hosting sing-along screenings in select theaters across the United States and Canada on 23–24 August. Tickets went on sale 13 August at 9 a.m. Eastern through SingKPopDemonHunters.com, which also lists participating venues. The 95-minute film, released on the streaming service on 20 June, has amassed about 158.8 million views, making it Netflix’s most-watched animated original and its second-most-viewed movie overall behind “Red Notice.” Its soundtrack is also fueling the buzz: lead single “Golden” tops the Billboard Hot 100, while total streams have exceeded three billion.
