Lionsgate and Fathom Events will return the five-film “Twilight” franchise to U.S. cinemas from 29 October to 2 November, marking the 20th anniversary of Stephenie Meyer’s debut novel. Each installment—Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and the two Breaking Dawn films—will screen on successive days during the Halloween period. The engagement will open with special screenings of the original 2008 movie accompanied by a live orchestra in 60 cities. Separately, Warner Music Group plans to reissue the soundtracks for the first three films on 31 October. The vampire-themed saga, which starred Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, has grossed more than $3.3 billion worldwide since 2008 and helped cement Lionsgate’s young-adult portfolio. The studio is also exploring a television adaptation as interest in the property endures.
