Round Rock, Austin, Waco Cancel Fourth of July Events Including Fireworks Amid Heavy Rain and Flood Warnings

Heavy rainfall and flash flood warnings have led to the cancellation of multiple Fourth of July events across Central Texas. The City of Round Rock was among the first to cancel its celebrations as rain moved into the area. Following this, other cities including Austin, Waco, and locations in the Texas Hill Country also called off their festivities. Austin canceled its annual Fourth of July fireworks show and the Star Spangled Fest event at Auditorium Shores due to saturated grounds and flood warnings. Waco's Fourth on the Brazos event was similarly canceled because of adverse weather conditions.
