A’ja Wilson recorded 32 points and matched her career high with 20 rebounds to power the Las Vegas Aces past the Connecticut Sun 94-86 on Sunday night in Las Vegas. The performance made the three-time MVP the first player in WNBA history to post at least 30 points and 20 rebounds in a single game. Wilson shot 13-of-25 from the field and 6-of-6 at the line, adding five assists while securing her 14th double-double of the season. The victory pushed Las Vegas to 18-14 and marked its fourth straight win. Two nights later the Aces extended the run, defeating the New York Liberty 83-77 for their first regular-season win over the Liberty since 2023. Jewell Loyd came off the bench for 21 points and five three-pointers, while Wilson collected another double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds. The Aces improved to 19-14, tightening the Western Conference playoff race, as New York slipped to 21-12. Wilson’s milestone was her 30th career 30-point outing and underscored a season in which she earlier became the fastest player to reach 5,000 career points. Las Vegas, chasing a third consecutive championship, next faces the Indiana Fever as it seeks to build on its best winning streak of the year.
