The SEC has announced an integration with Apple to provide iPads for sideline use, following a similar partnership between the Big 12 and Microsoft. Apple CEO Tim Cook, an Auburn graduate, is involved in the initiative. Greg Sankey, SEC Commissioner, stated that the collaboration aims to elevate the performance of student-athletes. The ACC has also made a deal with Apple to bring iPads to football sidelines and coaches' booths this season, allowing all 17 teams to access video playback during games.
