Texas A&M has secured a verbal commitment from Bryce Perry-Wright, a five-star defensive lineman from Buford High School in Georgia. The 6-foot-2, 250-pound prospect announced his decision on 5 July, selecting the Aggies over Clemson, Miami and Texas. ESPN ranks Perry-Wright as the No. 3 defensive tackle in the 2026 recruiting cycle. His pledge gives head coach Mike Elko’s program its 15th ESPN 300 recruit and strengthens a class that is currently rated third nationally. He is the fourth defensive lineman committed to the group, joining Jordan Carter, Samu Moala and Jermaine Kinsler, and is expected to bolster Texas A&M’s pass-rush and interior run defense.
