Brinker International Inc. reported stronger-than-expected fourth-quarter results, buoyed by robust demand at its Chili’s chain. Revenue for the three months ended June rose 21% from a year earlier to $1.44 billion, matching analyst estimates, while adjusted earnings climbed to $2.49 a share, topping the $2.44 consensus. Comparable sales advanced 21.3% across the company’s restaurants, driven by a 23.7% jump at Chili’s that more than offset a 0.4% decline at the smaller Maggiano’s brand. Management credited menu innovation and marketing promotions for the gains, which continued the momentum seen earlier in the fiscal year. Looking ahead, the Dallas-based company projected fiscal-year 2026 earnings of $9.90 to $10.50 a share on revenue of $5.6 billion to $5.7 billion, both well above Wall Street expectations. The upbeat guidance sent Brinker shares up roughly 9% in morning trading.
