Financial terms and draft-pick compensation were not disclosed. The 24-year-old Metchie, a second-round pick in 2022 who missed his rookie season while being treated for leukemia, will reunite in Philadelphia with former Alabama teammate DeVonta Smith. The San Francisco 49ers were also pursuing Metchie, but the Eagles reportedly offered the stronger package.
