Damien "DJ" LeForbes, a professional poker player, has pleaded guilty to federal charges of operating an illegal gambling business and money laundering. LeForbes lost $12.3 million during numerous visits to Resorts World Las Vegas and gambled a total of $148 million over an 11-month period. He is believed to be Patron A in a complaint filed by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. LeForbes, who appeared on Hustler Casino Live, is linked to Mathew Bowyer, a bookie involved in taking bets from Shohei Ohtani's interpreter. This case marks the third instance of a California man pleading guilty to illegal bookmaking and money laundering activities in California and Las Vegas.
