The investigation has expanded, with reports indicating that servers possibly containing Nvidia chips shipped to Singapore may have ultimately ended up in Malaysia. Singapore prosecutors have since brought new charges against the suspects, who are accused of defrauding suppliers of server computers that are believed to be subject to U.S. export controls. This crackdown comes amid heightened scrutiny by U.S. officials on technology transfers to China.
