Campos Racing’s Josep María Martí captured his second victory of the 2025 Formula 2 season by winning the 28-lap sprint at Austria’s Red Bull Ring. Starting fifth, the Spaniard surged past Joshua Dürksen on lap 18 to secure the lead and pulled away to win by almost three seconds. Dürksen finished second for AIX Racing, while Roman Stanek took third for Invicta Racing. The result tightened the championship battle, with points leader Alexander Dunne holding a one-point margin over Richard Verschoor after the race. One week later at Silverstone, Invicta Racing’s Leo Fornaroli claimed his first career Formula 2 victory in the 21-lap British Grand Prix sprint. The Italian converted pole into the win, breaking DRS range midway through the race and keeping a charging Sebastián Montoya at bay. Montoya finished second for Prema Racing, with Stanek earning his second consecutive sprint-race podium in third. Fornaroli’s breakthrough gives Invicta Racing successive sprint wins and further compresses the teams’ standings heading into the Sunday feature races.
