Chainlink has launched the Automated Compliance Engine (ACE), a modular and unified compliance framework designed to support both traditional finance and decentralized finance. Built on the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), ACE aims to solve onchain compliance challenges by unifying identity and policy frameworks across blockchains. The engine facilitates the issuance of compliant digital and tokenized assets with real-time compliance monitoring, potentially enabling over $100 trillion in regulated assets to move onchain. The development was made in collaboration with organizations including ERC3643, Apex Global Group, and the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF). ACE introduces a privacy-preserving framework that connects existing identity systems with onchain infrastructure, positioning Chainlink as a standard for institutional adoption of crypto and blockchain technology. Additionally, Chainlink’s platform offers proof of reserves, cross-chain connectivity, and onchain identity and compliance, which are essential components for institutional stablecoins.
