Gay robot called “The Rizzbot” in LA https://t.co/DjoiaGt8xO
Video circulating on social-media platforms on 15 July shows a small, four-foot-tall humanoid robot, nicknamed the “Rizzbot,” walking through traffic and briefly engaging pedestrians in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. Observers said the device weighs about 77 pounds and can move autonomously, based on onboard artificial-intelligence software. The robot matches the design of the H1 unit produced by China-based Unitree Robotics, a company that has been selling bipedal machines for industrial and research use since 2023. Neither Unitree nor Los Angeles city officials immediately responded to requests for comment on why the robot was operating in a public street or whether it was part of a commercial demonstration.
