Europe’s top club rugby competition, the Investec Champions Cup, conducted its 2025-26 pool-stage draw in Dublin on 1 July, allocating 24 teams to four pools of six. The season will culminate with the final on 23 May 2026 at San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao. Pool 1 reunites French champions Stade Toulousain with South Africa’s Hollywoodbets Sharks, alongside ASM Clermont Auvergne, Saracens, Glasgow Warriors and Sale Sharks. Pool 2 features Bath Rugby, RC Toulon, Munster, Castres Olympique, Edinburgh and Gloucester. Leinster headline Pool 3 with Leicester Tigers, Harlequins, La Rochelle, Bayonne and the Stormers, while defending European title-holders Bordeaux Bègles lead Pool 4 against Scarlets, Bristol Bears, Pau, Northampton Saints and the Bulls. Each club will face four opponents—avoiding the side from its own domestic league—home or away. The top four teams in every pool advance to the knock-out rounds, continuing the format introduced last season; full fixtures and venues will be published later this month.
