As part of this commemoration, the SABC will broadcast the second Test match between the Springboks and Italy live on July 12 from Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria. This broadcast agreement highlights the public broadcaster's commitment to showcasing key rugby events. The upcoming match features notable players including flanker Vincent Tshituka, who will complete his rise from child refugee to Springbok Test player, and potentially Willie le Roux, who may earn his 100th Test cap in Cape Town. Italy is expected to test new team combinations for the match, while Springbok players like Jasper Wiese emphasize the importance of a strong forward pack performance. Former Stormers scrumhalf Dewaldt Duvenage also anticipates the Springbok forwards to dominate the encounters. The Test serves as a tribute to rugby's ability to transcend borders, exemplified by players such as Ross Vintcent and Vincent Tshituka lining up on opposing sides.
