Apple appears to have unintentionally disclosed a broad slate of unreleased hardware after an internal software file briefly went live on its servers, according to code examined by MacRumors. The file lists identifiers for at least seven new or updated products, suggesting that the company is preparing one of its most extensive portfolio refreshes in years. The references point to a low-cost iPad powered by the iPhone 16’s A18 chip, an iPad mini running the A19 Pro, and a next-generation Vision Pro headset built around an unannounced M5 processor. Also noted are a second-generation Studio Display using an A19 Pro chip, an updated HomePod mini, a refreshed Apple TV with the A17 Pro, and new Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3 and SE 3 models. Separate reports this week add that Apple is weighing a $599 entry-level MacBook and that the forthcoming iPhone 17 Pro could start at $1,049—$50 above the current model—while doubling its base storage to 256 GB. Apple’s annual September launch event, widely expected on 8 September, would offer the first official confirmation of the leaked roadmap.
