In a separate development, Carlsberg shares experienced an increase following a decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, which ends government control over the brewer's Russian operations. The decree indicates that Carlsberg's Russian assets are no longer under state management. Additionally, the decree specifies that shares of the brewery Baltika, which were previously under Carlsberg Sverige Aktiebola's ownership, have been transferred to the Russian Federal Property Management agency, where 98.56% of the shares were held by Carlsberg.
