Russia and Venezuela Reaffirm Strategic Ties Amid U.S. Pressure; Delcy Rodríguez and ALBA Movimientos Support Maduro

Venezuela's President Nicolás Maduro emphasized the need for a dynamic and continuous force to support the Bolivarian country. The Venezuelan government, represented by Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, engaged in multiple telephone conversations with Russian Foreign Minister Serguéi Lavrov, during which both parties reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening the strategic relationship between Russia and Venezuela. Russia expressed unequivocal support for the Venezuelan government and President Maduro amid increasing threats and external pressure from the United States. The progressive international community also voiced strong backing for the Bolivarian Revolution and Maduro's constitutional presidency in response to recent escalations by the U.S. Additionally, over sixty movements, communes, and organizations affiliated with ALBA Movimientos and the International Solidarity Platform with Palestine in Venezuela issued a declaration supporting Maduro and expressing solidarity with the Palestinian cause. Public demonstrations in Caracas by ALBA representatives further underscored this support.
