Feyenoord has not accepted the approach and is holding out for a fee closer to €40 million, which would constitute a club-record sale. Sources close to the negotiations say the Dutch champions will not consider an offer under €30 million, while Bayer Leverkusen and several Premier League teams are monitoring the situation. Paixão has agreed personal terms with Marseille and is keen on the move after a standout 2024-25 campaign that produced 16 goals and 10 assists in the Eredivisie and 18 goals and 19 assists in all competitions. He joined Feyenoord from Coritiba in 2022 and is under contract in Rotterdam until 2029.
