Hello Games has released the Voyagers update—version 6.0—for “No Man’s Sky,” introducing build-from-scratch, multi-crew Corvette-class starships that can be customised inside and out. Players can assemble hulls, wings and internal modules, walk through fully traversable interiors during flight, and invite friends to crew the vessels. A time-limited in-game expedition fast-tracks access to the new ships and unlocks additional components. The free update, which coincides with the game’s ninth anniversary, also overhauls performance and visuals. “No Man’s Sky” becomes the first PlayStation VR2 title to employ PS5 Pro’s PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution upscaling, and adds NVIDIA DLSS 4 and Intel XeSS 2 options on PC. Further optimisations include multi-threaded rendering, occlusion culling on consoles, and a new transparency system for clearer glass and cockpit views. Voyagers is available now across PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms, including Game Pass. Hello Games says the technology underpinning the starship-building system will inform its next project, “Light No Fire,” signalling continued long-term development for the space-exploration franchise.
